I managed to get a quick 2.5 hour session in at Port Carlisle, unfortunately missing the start of the flood, but managed a couple of nice fish. This is predominately a flounder venue, so the bass I caught was the first other species I have landed at this prolific flounder mark in over 30 years of fishing there!

I had some very good fresh peeler crab tipped off with mackerel, which usually at this time of year does the business. There was very little tide run which the flounders tend to like, so I’m putting that down for the lack of fish or maybe it was just me! There was also some nice sized salmon/sea trout jumping as well. There’s a couple of quickly edited video clips, hope you enjoy them.
